Brewer's grain - a product of brewing, the remains of
barley (corn, rice or oat) of raw materials after the establishment
ofits wort. Brewer's grain appearance is a thick
particles of barley seeds and membranes rich in plant fiber. It is
used for feeding farm animals in fresh, moist, and in dried form.
Fresh brewer's grain fed mixed with the other ingredients of feed
for cattle and pigs.
Dry brewer's grain is added to
the feed for dairy cows, draft horses,
pigs, rabbits, birds and fish. Also grain used in the production of protein
concentrates. The resulting material contains *0% pure protein and
suitable for use as a livestock feed.
Beer pellet contains a
sufficiently large proportion of digestible protein: 4% to *7% of
fresh and the dried and essential trace elements (phosphorus,
calcium, magnesium, copper, iron), fatty acids and vitamins E and
F. Experimental results show that it steers fed fattening their
weight gain was increased by *4%. Just spent grains saves consumed
feed: inclusion in the diet of cattle grains reduces the cost of
livestock gain to 9%. The use of flour from grains in food
technology saves the consumption of wheat flour by *0 to
*5%.
Grain alcohol Bard - a product from
the production of alcohol. Alcohol Bard is a promising raw material
in feed production. Compared with the grain it contains **2.5 times
and digestible crude protein, micronutrients necessary for the
organism, the biologically active substance. Bard alcohol
characterized by a rich and diverse amino acid composition.
Putting dry stillage in a significant number of limited feed
contained there in crude fiber. Reduce the mass fraction of crude
fiber and thereby increase the nutritional value of DDGS allows the
use of the enzyme preparation
CelloLux (modifications A or F), ensuring the
destruction of non-starch polysaccharides bards to the body to
digest animal substances: mono-and disaccharides. Treatment of
alcohol stillage
CelloLux enzyme
preparation is carried out by its administration directly into the
liquid stillage. The use of CelloLux there is a significant
reduction in fiber content, increased nitrogen-free extractives and
energy value of alcohol stillage, allowing 2 to 8% of the grain in
feed substitute alcohol vinasse.
However, the use of liquid or spent grain distillery stillage for
animal feed is limited and labor-intensive. It is much more
convenient and efficient as feed or feed additives used or spent
grain alcohol stillage in dry form. But even in this form, and
brewer's grain distillery grains have a significant disadvantage -
it is a very limited shelf life and the difficulties of
transportation.
Revolution in the processing of spent grains and alcohol stillage
was turning them into pellets. In granular form shelf life spent
grains and alcohol stillage without loss of nutritional value and
vitamins at least *8 months. Granules and pellets of spent grain
distillery stillage are easy to store and transport.
They can easily
be applied as a separate feed or as a feed additive for dairy cows,
draft horses, pigs, rabbits, birds, and fish.
Technological scheme of spent grains / alcohol stillage into feed
pellets is as follows: liquid raw materials (grains / grains) is
fed into the tank drive by gravity, pump or conveyor, then using a
pump or by gravity conveyor is fed to a separator, where it is
spinning, and then separating the solid fraction is sent to the
drying and granulation. The end product - dry granular feed
additive. According to its animal science properties of pellets
pellet / bards are a good feed supplement to diets of cattle, pigs,
rabbits, fish and birds.
